May 9, 2020
In this episode, we connect the dots of how to become AI inventors at 10… or even earlier.
Is being an inventor a skill or mindset? Should we be focused on learning to code or solving problems? Do we need Coursera for teenagers? And how to bring the creator’s acumen into mainstream education?
Today’s conversation with Samaira Mehta (she is 11 at moment of our talk), prodigy coder and inventor who started to code and create far before she turned 10. She is the founder of the CoderBunnyz – interactive game which helps to learn coding through studying concepts of artificial intelligence and Java. Besides tech, Samaira has an intersectional passion for social causes and projects, including women and minorities in tech, inclusion and underrepresented groups.
Over our conversation, we discuss how to become a coder under 10, acumen of the next generation of coders, learning through interactive experiences, edtech for teenagers, intersections of technology and social problems, hackathons and much more.
